Synopsis: Generated fluid test using Houdini 14. Simple cube static solver and added FLIP from object. Important takeaways:

  • Iterate as much as you can before rendering. Lower defaults, they aim for final renders
  • In particular, sampling pixel size: start with 3
  • Lowered whitewater particle generation by /10
  • ROP everything. Don't try to render everything out at the end.
